Position ObjectiveThe Chain Manager is responsible for improving sales by attaining ads, distribution, displays, and shelf space from the assigned chains. The Chain Manager leads, directs, and controls the sales and merchandising activities of the sales organization within the assigned chain accounts.Chain Account Manager at Allstate Beverage Company, LLC. Reports to Managing Director.Description Of Physical TasksKeep shelves and vendors clean.Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case).Push or pull hand truck to machine or shelves and load appropriate company products.Climb in and out of vehicle and use proper lifting techniques.ResponsibilitiesContinuously direct and monitor the salespersons in areas of marketing plan goals, sales, new placements, distribution, rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position.Maintain contact with all Sales Managers to obtain necessary information for proper sales, merchandising, and implementation of all retail programs across all channels.Serve as the point of contact for chain account business analysis.Forecast volume and plan volume bridges for chain programs.Identify volume, share and profit opportunities.Collaborate with field sales to understand retail execution.Communicate pricing discrepancies by chain to account managers.Present results and proposals to chain team management.Conduct gap analysis versus plan and category.Work with analysts to deliver category and space management presentations to the retailer to secure partnership.Develop customer category plans collaboratively with the retailer.Apply category management standards.Customise category retail solutions to account situations.Develop solution selling presentations for customers.Implement agreed solutions: track, measure, and communicate results.Call on new accounts prior to opening and on non‑buying accounts monthly.Maintain a positive working relationship with owners, managers, and employees of all assigned accounts.Monitor competitive activity within assigned chains and identify opportunities that can increase company sales.Advise and train retailers and their employees in proper methods of selling, merchandising, and pricing of the products supplied.Maintain open and clear communication with owners, managers, and other employees of the company.Always be aware of code dates and replace out‑of‑date product.Ensure product salability and replace damaged product.Operate, protect, and return all equipment issued (e.g., radios, hand trucks, vehicles).Conduct all activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.Comply with local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.Perform all work activities in accordance with safe work practices, policies, and procedures.Complete all other duties as assigned.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC is committed to offering equal employment opportunity without regard to age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, military status, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.#J-18808-Ljbffr
