The Department of Psychology in the College of Sciences at Old Dominion University (ODU) seeks a collaborative, collegial, and dynamic leader to serve as the department chair. The area of research is open, with a preference for candidates whose research program aligns with one of our Ph.D. concentrations. The faculty member will:

About the Department
ODU's Department of Psychology is in the College of Sciences and includes 28 full-time faculty members, approximately 1,200 undergraduate majors, and 60 students in our graduate programs. The department offers a terminal Master's degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. with concentrations in Health Psychology, Human Factors, and Clinical Psychology. The department participates in the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, an APA approved program. Faculty research is currently funded by NIH, NSF, SAMHSA, NASA, and other entities.
