Job Summary:
As a Change Management Consultant, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy to develop and execute change management strategies for complex initiatives. This role partners closely with project and program leadership to align change strategies with business outcomes, drive adoption, and ensure successful implementation across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently using established change management methodology to create and execute change management plans
Orchestrate cross-initiative change strategies, anticipate impacts, and align outcomes to business KPIs
Partner with project and program leadership to ensure alignment and act as a trusted advisor
Document and obtain approval for change management scope of work
Tailor deliverables based on project complexity using change toolkits and expertise
Develop and implement change management strategies including impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and communication plans
Conduct skill gap analysis, learning needs assessments, and develop learning personas
Create knowledge checks, surveys, and adoption metrics tracking
Deliver communications, engagement plans, and leadership coaching toolkits
Support sponsor alignment, change champions, and learning councils
Provide readiness and adoption updates to stakeholders, project teams, and steering committees
Monitor adoption metrics and adjust strategies to ensure successful outcomes
Identify and mitigate people-related risks and adoption challenges
Develop and report on change success metrics aligned to project outcomes
Engage and empower stakeholder communities to drive adoption
Influence stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams in complex environments
Drive continuous improvement initiatives beyond assigned scope
Coach and advise stakeholders and teams on change management practices
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Experience:
8+ years of experience developing and executing change management strategies with measurable success
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven ability to act as a strategic partner for medium to large-scale transformation initiatives
Change Management Certification (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP, or equivalent)
Experience designing and delivering communications, engagement, and training programs
Strong stakeholder influence and ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
Proven experience coaching leaders and driving alignment
Experience working with global teams and third-party partners
Hands-on experience conducting change assessments (impact, readiness, adoption)
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CoPilot) and change management tools
Nice-to-Have Experience:
10+ years of experience in change management
Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience within program management or transformation offices
Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership
Familiarity with behavioral science principles
Experience building organizational change capability and toolkits
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in change management
