Overview:
Change Management Specialist
Drive successful transformation—helping teams adopt change, improve operations, and enhance patient care across the enterprise.
Work Style: Hybrid (Remote & Onsite)

FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Supports enterprise transformation initiatives across the UF Health Clinical Enterprise by applying structured change management methodologies to drive adoption of clinical, operational, digital, and administrative changes. Works across hospitals, ambulatory practices, faculty practice plans, academic partners, and shared services to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
Partners closely with clinical leaders, faculty, administrators, project teams, and executive sponsors to develop and execute comprehensive change management plans. Ensures organizational changes are clearly communicated, well understood, and sustainably integrated into daily operations while minimizing disruption to patient care and business processes.
Plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training support, and readiness assessments to drive successful outcomes across complex, system-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise & Clinical Change Enablement
- Apply a structured change management methodology to support enterprise initiatives, including clinical and operational transformation, digital health, system integration, and operating model redesign.
- Partner with project and clinical teams to embed change management activities into initiative planning, execution, and sustainment.
- Support concurrent change initiatives across hospitals, ambulatory sites, faculty practice plans, and as applicable academic units as part of an enterprise change portfolio. Change Impact, Readiness & Risk
- Conduct change impact assessments that consider effects on clinicians, learners, team members, workflows, patient care delivery, and academic missions.
- Assess organizational and workforce readiness across diverse stakeholder groups, including physicians, nurses, faculty, residents, and administrative teams.
- Identify and develop plans with project sponsors and project teams to mitigate risks related to adoption, and workforce engagement.
Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the design and execution of change communications in partnership with executive leadership, clinical leadership, and communications teams.
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and tailored to clinical, academic, and operational audiences.
- Support the preparation of leaders and people managers with talking points, FAQs, and tools to support frontline engagement.
Training & Capability Building
- Collaborate with projects teams, training teams, and learning and development, to inform training strategies and requirements.
- Support the design and delivery of training that addresses role-based impacts and readiness gaps.
- Support the development of change champion networks.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Change management or strategic communications
License/Certifications (if applicable): Prosci certification or equivalent preferred
