Change Manager
Duration: 15-Month Contract
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Range: $70.00–$80.00/hour W2
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Change Manager / Change Management Consultant to support large-scale organizational change initiatives. This role will partner with project teams, business leaders, managers, and key stakeholders to develop and execute change management strategies that drive employee adoption, organizational effectiveness, and successful implementation of business and process changes.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in organizational change management, organizational development, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change implementation within complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies, plans, activities, and timelines.
- Assess the impact of organizational, process, technology, and business changes on employees, teams, and operations.
- Conduct stakeholder assessments and develop engagement strategies to build alignment, support, and adoption.
- Develop and implement communication plans, including presentations, emails, FAQs, newsletters, leadership communications, and other change materials.
- Partner with project teams and business leaders to identify change risks, resistance, dependencies, and adoption challenges.
- Develop mitigation strategies to address resistance and remove barriers to successful change.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, focus groups, and change-related meetings.
- Provide change management support, coaching, and guidance to employees, managers, and leadership teams.
- Support organizational development initiatives, including organizational design, team effectiveness, leadership development, coaching, training, and process improvement.
- Facilitate organizational change associated with reengineering, restructuring, and organizational transformation efforts.
- Advise leaders on team design, performance, leadership effectiveness, and organizational effectiveness.
- Monitor change adoption and effectiveness, gather feedback, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Maintain change management documentation, lessons learned, best practices, progress reports, and executive-level status updates.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness and business impact of change initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR minimum 8 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.
- Significant experience leading organizational change management initiatives in complex business environments.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, organizational development principles, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, communications, training, and adoption strategies.
- Experience supporting organizational transformation, process improvement, restructuring, or reengineering initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional project teams.
- Proficiency with change management, project management, collaboration, and communication tools.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working as a Change Management Consultant, Organizational Change Manager, Organizational Development Consultant, or Senior Change Manager.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation or complex organizational change initiatives.
- Experience developing executive communications, training programs, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and change adoption strategies.
