Step into a meaningful role within our Hospice Care Team as a Chaplain dedicated to supporting patients and families during some of life's most vulnerable moments. You'll serve as a trusted resource for nurses, physicians, caregivers, and loved ones, helping maintain comfort, dignity, and continuity of care.

Location:

Hospice of Cincinnati - 4310 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242 (This position may require some travel)

Work Schedule:

  • Part Time (24 hours weekly)
  • Day Shift (No weekends/holiday rotation/on call)

Assist with flex in census, cover MLOA, cover vacations. Must be detail-oriented, able to self-manage, able to think critically, collaborative and flexible. Required MDiv and 1-4 units of CPE. Prefer Board Certified Chaplain. Part Time - Day shift

Job Overview:

Provides pastoral care to patients and families. Provides ministry in crisis situations. Participates in on call as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor''s Degree in in Theology

Clinical Pastoral Education

Hospice: Certified, or meets a certification committee within three years by APC, NACC, NAJC or ACPE

4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education

3-4 years experience Professional in Chaplaincy

2 years desired outside of training; Clinical Pastoral Education

Job Responsibilities:

Visits patients/families to provide pastoral ministry

Provides ministry in crisis situations

Responds in a timely manner to referrals for service

Is fllexible and takes initiative in providing services

Participates in on-call as appropriate

Functions as a positive member of the pastoral care team
