We Are Hiring:

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Facility: Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital

Department/Specialty: Pastoral Spiritual Care

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time

What You Will Do:

 

  • Provide sacraments and spiritual support to patients and staff.
  • Work with clinical teams to integrate spiritual care into treatment plans.
  • Mentor and guide students in clinical training programs.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Board Certification from the ACPE, APC, NACC, CASC, or the NAJC at time of hire or job transfer (or obtained within two years of hire or job transfer; risking termination if not obtained within timeframe) is required. For those not board certified at time of hire or job transfer, ecclesiastical endorsement is required.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited school is required. 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE is required only if not board-certified.

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience as a chaplain is preferred.
Additional Preferences:

3-5 years of healthcare experience preferred

Monday - Friday, 8-4:30 p.m.
participates in after hours regional on-call rotation for metro-Milwaukee area
