Responsibilities
Review and code outpatient visits for accurate charge capture.
Enter and verify CPT/ICD codes for billing, ensuring compliance.
Maintain compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with clinicians to resolve documentation gaps affecting charges.
Identify and correct under- or over-coding to optimize revenue.
Maintain high-volume productivity while meeting monthly targets.
Utilize charge capture software to track progress and pipeline status.
Audit and reconcile accounts receivable to support timely payments.
Document workflow deviations and implement process improvements.
Generate and share weekly performance dashboards for transparency.
Provide feedback to leadership on training needs and best practices.
Participate in on-site team huddles and performance reviews.
Experience/Qualifications
Proficient in CPT/ICD coding with accurate charge capture for outpatient visits.
Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and regulatory compliance.
Analytical skills to identify under- or over-coding and optimize revenue.
Experience using charge capture software and AR reconciliation tools.
Ability to collaborate with clinicians to resolve documentation gaps.
Demonstrated track record of meeting monthly productivity targets.
Experience auditing and reconciling accounts receivable for timely payments.
Detail-oriented with strong issue-resolution and process improvement capabilities.
Ability to generate weekly performance dashboards and present insights clearly.
Adaptability to a growth-oriented environment with ongoing training.
