Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Location: Winter Garden Campus

• Manages the daily surgery schedule, including room assignments, staffing, and equipment coordination.
• Works with the Anesthesia Department to ensure appropriate staffing for schedule changes throughout the day.
• Coordinates the care of surgical patients with ancillary departments such as ACC, PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and Cath Lab.
• Collaborates closely with the scheduling department to organize the surgery schedule for the following business day.
• Serves as the central contact person for surgeons, anesthesia, and associates.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards and infection prevention precautions.
• Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Work Experience:
• 1+ year of surgery related experience


Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.53 - $52.24
