A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical Oncology team. This full-time leadership opportunity offers the chance to provide exceptional patient care while supporting staff development and promoting clinical excellence in an oncology-focused acute care environment.
Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
Coordinate and oversee daily patient care activities and support efficient unit operations
Utilize effective leadership and managerial skills to guide patient care delivery
Serve as a professional role model, preceptor, and clinical resource for nursing team members
Promote safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered oncology care practices
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Delegate appropriate patient care activities and monitor the quality of care delivery
Support staff development, education, and professional growth initiatives
Facilitate communication and share organizational priorities and unit goals with team members
Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to continuous improvement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting required
Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
Oncology experience or nursing specialty certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
