Summary:
The Charge Endoscopy/Procedural RN responsibilities include:
- RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
- RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
- RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
For this position we prefer a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer a minimum of one-year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred for this role. Charge experience is preferred for this position.
