Chauffeur - Hillcrest Health & Rehab

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, safety-focused, and service-minded Chauffeur to join our team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

Hillcrest Health & Rehab is Bellevue's only skilled nursing facility, providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and post-acute services in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Our team works together to help guests feel cared for, supported, and confident throughout their stay.

At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. As a Chauffeur, you will play an important role in safely transporting guests while also supporting daily care, communication, and service needs within the community.

What You'll Do

As a Chauffeur, you will be responsible for safely transporting Hillcrest Health & Rehab guests to and from scheduled appointments, hospital discharges, and other approved transportation needs. This role also supports the facility through guest care, documentation, medical records support, and other assigned tasks.

You will:

  • Safely drive the company vehicle to transport Hillcrest Health & Rehab guests.

  • Coordinate admission pickup times with the Director of Transitions.

  • Support transportation needs for scheduled appointments, hospital discharges, and other guest needs.

  • Complete scheduled preventive safety inspections and help track ongoing vehicle maintenance.

  • Schedule appointments for guests as needed.

  • Document transportation and appointment information accurately in the electronic health record.

  • Provide personal care support to guests on assigned neighborhoods, including assistance with bathing, dressing, undressing, hygiene care, perineal care, and barrier ointment application.

  • Scan HIPAA-protected information into the electronic health record accurately and timely.

  • Fax telephone orders and other communications to physician offices and track responses.

  • Assist Clinical Support Assistants with basic equipment maintenance, disinfection, and restocking.

  • Help with ongoing stocking and inventory of medical supplies.

  • Build positive, professional relationships with guests, families, team members, providers, and community partners.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to providing a safe and respectful experience for every guest.

The right candidate will be comfortable driving, assisting with guest care, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment with professionalism and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least three years of experience in a similar position preferred.

  • Previous healthcare, senior living, transportation, CNA, patient care, or customer-service experience preferred.

  • A strong focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism.

  • Excellent communication skills with guests, families, providers, and team members.

  • Ability to remain flexible, calm, and respectful in changing or stressful situations.

  • Strong attention to detail with documentation, scheduling, and follow-through.

  • Comfort using technology, electronic health records, and facility resources efficiently.

  • A service-focused mindset and willingness to support the team where needed.

Education & Credentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Must not be on high-risk insurance.

  • CPR certification required.

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

  • Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.

  • Must be able to utilize technology and resources efficiently and effectively.

  • Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
