Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Transportation Shift Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the courteous, safe & efficient transportation of patrons, executives and entertainers to and from Foxwoods Resort Casino. High school diploma or GED required as well as 2-4 years of experience in limousine operations or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with patrons/guests. Possesses well-developed customers service techniques & negotiating skills necessary for tactful resolution of patron/guest circumstances. Must possess a Class A, B, C or 2 license with "T" restriction. Must possess acceptable vision, hearing & dexterity abilities to safely operate vehicles. May be required to work overtime as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs for assisting with moving luggage, wheelchairs and motorized equipment, etc., into and out of vehicles at different heights.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must adhere to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Transports patrons and executives to and from requested locations. Prepares maps, directions and plans alternate routes to ensure expedient and accurate arrival and departure from assigned destinations.
• Inspects vehicle before each trip to ensure cleanliness, well equipped supplies including requests and special amenities and adequate fuel and fluid levels.
• Maintains communication with dispatcher as instructed by department policies and procedures.
• Responds accurately and professionally to a multitude of inquiries. Maintains familiarity with the Resort & Casino as well as surrounding areas.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Participates as a panel member on MPGE's Board of Review as needed.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required as well as two (2) to four (4) years of experience in limousine operations or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience.
