BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary-aged students in fun, structured enrichment programs throughout the Baltimore area.
This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, youth development, kinesiology, exercise science, recreation, dance, or physical education. We are currently hiring coaches to teach Cheer and Dance programs.
Position Details
Part-time, after-school position
Monday through Friday
Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
1.5-hour sessions
$45 per session ($30 per hour)
No weekends
No lesson planning required

Responsibilities
Teach elementary students either Cheer or Yoga activities
Follow BBA#39;s structured curriculum and lesson plans
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation
Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
Experience participating in or teaching Cheer, Dance, Yoga, gymnastics, or a related activity is preferred but not required
Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5
Reliable transportation to schools throughout the Baltimore area
Dependable and punctual
Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process
