 i9 Sports Greater Phoenix is looking for Cheerleading Instructors!

i9 Sports Greater Phoenix (www.i9sports.com) is looking for energetic, personable, and hardworking Cheerleading Instructors. As an i9 Sports Cheer Instructor, you will be a key person in fulfilling our goal: "Helping Kids Succeed in Life through Sports". Our Cheer Instructors should have coaching experience, as well as experience working with kids. The i9 Sports league focuses on building fundamentals and learning the sport in the most enjoyable way possible - creating a safe and fun environment for all participants. The position is needed for Saturdays and/or Sundays during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Seasons for up to 2 hours depending on the number of registrants per season. The Cheer instructor will create and facilitate weekly practice plans for all age groups (3-14).

 The compensation for this position is based on experience. This is a part-time position on either Saturday and/or Sundays. Hours will vary depending on the location.

 Duties/Responsibilities for the Cheer Instructor:

• Organize, plan and run practices for a mid and end of season performance (including sideline cheers)
• Communicate weekly with parents, participants, and league owners
• Teach both cheerleading skills and sportsmanship values while assuring a fun program for participants
• Work with any Volunteer Parent Assistant Coaches on skills and routines
• Distribute Sportsmanship and Participation medals at during the season

Requirements :

• Must be able to commit to a Full 7-week Season. The ideal candidate will continue coaching for multiple seasons throughout the year.
• Must be reliable, professional and responsive.
• Must be Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic and Enthusiastic
• Must be Warm, Empathetic, Patient and Consistent
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Cheerleading and have coached for a minimum of 1 year
• Must have superior customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation, cell phone & web/email access
• The candidate will need to pass a Background Check
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Laveen or Avondale.
