Cheese Grader
The Cheese Grader is responsible for grading cheese and producing a product that meets the high standards and requirements of our client company.
Hours: Mon-Weds (10 hour days); Saturday and Sunday (5 hour days); off Thursdays and Fridays
Pay: $22.60/hour
Cheese Grader Responsibilities:
- Assign cheese grades throughout the production cycle according to established procedures
- Ensure cheese is turned properly and placed in proper racking
- Perform final grading of cheese before shipment to customers
- Re-box cheese if damaged
- Document all daily reports
- Ensure sanitation, safety, GMPs and quality policies are followed
- Ensure accurate recording of counts and weights in production
- Conduct inventory verification
Cheese Grader Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
