Job Full Description

Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business to search for a candidate to support their business in a CHEESE PACKAGING OPERATOR. This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM).

Summary:Operates and monitors packaging equipment to safely package cheese products while meeting quality standards.

Duties:• Run and monitor packaging machines
• Ensure correct weights, labels, and seals
• Inspect product quality and remove defects
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting
• Keep work area clean and safe

Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent
• Production or food experience preferred
• Basic math and record-keeping skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical:• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand/walk up to 12 hours
• Bend, reach, and work in warm/wet conditions
