Who We Are

We are a full-service restaurant in Boise committed to excellence in every detail from the food on the plate to the culture in the kitchen. We believe that great hospitality is built on passion, executed with precision, and sustained by people who take genuine pride in their craft. We're looking for a Chef de Cuisine who shares that belief and is ready to lead.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position for a culinarian who leads from the line, not from the office. You will own daily BOH operations driving quality, managing costs, developing your team, and holding the standard on every ticket. You'll work closely with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience built on consistency, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.

What You'll Do

  • Set and uphold the standard for food quality, plating, and consistency across every service
  • Lead and expedite during peak service present, focused, and composed under pressure
  • Manage food cost, ordering, inventory, and waste with discipline and intentionality
  • Build and manage BOH schedules aligned to volume patterns and labor targets
  • Recruit, train, and develop line and prep staff investing in their growth, not just their output
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully compliant kitchen at all times
  • Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure the guest experience is cohesive from kitchen to table

What We're Looking For

  • 2 3 years minimum in a Chef de Cuisine or senior Sous Chef role in a scratch-cooking, full-service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage food and labor costs to target
  • A leader who builds trust through consistency, transparency, and genuine investment in their team
  • Strong technical foundation classical technique, kitchen systems, ordering, menu execution
  • Calm, organized, and solutions-oriented when the pressure is on
  • Availability for standard management hours including evenings and weekends
  • ServSafe Manager certification required

What Success Looks Like

Your kitchen hums with efficiency and urgency, your numbers are in line, and your team shows up ready to work because you've built something worth believing in. Guests taste the difference. The standard holds, service after service, without you having to chase it.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Relocation assistance
  • Vision insurance
