Seeking a Chef De Partie to create amazing experiences for our guests. Join our culinary team at Scenic Hotel Punakaiki on the West Coast.

Hotel: Scenic Hotel Punakaiki

Location: Punakaiki, West Coast

Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent waged role. Monday to Sunday.

Hours: 30 hours guaranteed per week

Rate per hour: $29.00 - $31.00

What You\'ll Do and Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
• Ensure all food is served and stored at the correct temperatures and meets Hotel standards, menu specifications and Kitchen guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
• Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
• Assisting with any other kitchen duties as required by the Head Chef.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Level 4 certificate, or higher, in Cookery preferred
• A current Food Handling certificate is beneficial
