Schedule your appointment here: https://www.esd113.org/district-support/hr/fingerprinting/High School Diploma or recognized equivalentPrior job-related experience in school or institutional settingArranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities and eventsCleans school facilities (i.e. classrooms, offices, multipurpose rooms, grounds, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environmentMaintains sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and steps as appropriate and particularly during inclement weather conditionsVacuums classrooms daily and dusts furnitureCleans corridors each dayScrubs or hoses down floors, disinfects toilets daily, cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains dailyKeeps all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservationDelivers varied items (e.g. supplies, mail, packages, furniture, etc.) for the purpose of distributing materials to the appropriate partiesInforms students, other site personnel and supervisor for the purpose of providing information regarding activities, safety and/or proper maintenance of facilitiesMonitors heating system in buildingSecures facilities and grounds for the purpose of minimizing property damage, loss and liability and ensuring safety at work siteWorks with students in setting up facility for assembliesServes as contact point for alarm centerConsistently deals with people in a courteous and professional mannerComplies with local and federal laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals, trash, rubbish, and wasteReports to the principal any damage to school propertyRemains on the school premises during non-school hours when the use of the building has been authorized and his/her attendance is required by the principalAssists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activitiesRepairs furniture and equipment for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working conditionRequests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items as needed to properly maintain facilitiesPerforms essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationUses forklift to unload supplies/materialsCompletes work at assigned workstationsPerforms other duties as assigned $25.11 per hourSick Leave - Substitutes earn one (1) hour of sick leave for every Forty (40) hours worked in each district.Medical - Substitutes that work 630 or more hours for one district in a school year may earn medical benefits.
