We are seeking a hands-on Chemical Batch Maker / Blender to support production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for weighing, mixing, and blending chemicals according to precise formulas while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has experience working in chemical manufacturing, is comfortable handling raw materials, and understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Blend and mix chemicals according to batch sheets, formulas, and production schedules
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials to ensure product quality and consistency
Operate production equipment including mixers, tanks, reactors, and pumps
Monitor batch processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications
Follow SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating equipment
Complete batch records, production logs, and documentation accurately
Perform material handling duties, including moving drums, totes, and pallets (forklift operation as needed)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient workflow
Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process deviations
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in chemical blending, batch making, or manufacturing
Experience working with batch sheets, formulas, or mixing processes
Knowledge of GMP, SOP, and safety standards
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently (100 lbs with assistance)
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a production environment
Forklift experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Preferred Experience
Chemical manufacturing, coatings, adhesives, food, or related industries
Experience working with hazardous materials and PPE requirements
Familiarity with scales, meters, or basic process controls
