Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Blending Technician to support a client in Alsip, IL. If you thrive on precision, cleanliness, and momentum, this role puts you at the center of batch production.

• Pay: $22/hour
• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Location: Alsip, IL

Your Impact

• Translate detailed formulas and SOPs into consistent, high‑quality batches.
• Run mixers safely and efficiently while meeting safety and training standards.
• Confirm material identity; maintain complete lot traceability from intake to finished batch.
• Keep a spotless, sanitary workstation and pass internal audits with confidence.
• Complete batch records and all required documentation accurately.
• Balance autonomy with teamwork to support production targets.

Advance to Level 1 (Advanced)

• Inspect and approve formulations before processing.
• Successfully batch every formula on every mixer used at the site.
• Serve as the designated buddy trainer for new or developing team members.
• Diagnose and prevent batch deviations; act before issues escalate.
• Assist with PIT tasks as assigned to keep material flow moving.
• Hold expert‑level knowledge across multiple mixers and product families.

Background

• Minimum 4 years of batch making/compounding experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
