Title: Gas and Chemical Design Engineer
Duration: 6-month contract that will be converted to FTE
Location: Austin, TX
Pay range: $55-60
Responsibilities
- Experience designing or supporting gas/chemical distribution systems
- Strong understanding of high-purity piping/material compatibility
- Ability to interpret P&IDs/PFDs
- Familiarity with semiconductor/facility standards like SEMI, NFPA, ASME
- Exposure to risk/reliability engineering, such as FMEA and RCA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of engineering/design experience
- Experience with: Gas systems, chemical delivery systems, fluid/process piping systems
- Can read: P&IDs, PFDs
- Understanding of: Valves, regulators, tanks, sensors, filters, PLC-controlled systems
- Familiar with codes/standards: NFPA, SEMI, ASME
Experience using: AutoCAD/Revit, Bluebeam
