Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

We are seeking a Chemical Dispensary Coordinator to oversee chemical management operations for multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental regulations. This role is responsible for managing chemicals from procurement through disposal, supporting safety programs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and serving as a key resource for chemical safety and environmental health initiatives.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or recognized safety certification with relevant experience

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience working with chemical management regulations required
• 2-5 years of related experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and RCRA regulations
• DOT Certification strongly preferred
• Experience signing waste manifests preferred
• Experience managing hazardous chemicals from procurement through disposal

Job Duties

• Manage chemical dispensary operations and chemical management systems
• Coordinate chemical procurement, inventory, storage, transportation, and disposal
• Ensure compliance with DOT shipping and receiving regulations
• Administer Hazard Communication and Chemical Hygiene programs
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, and inventory records
• Review chemical orders to identify hazards and recommend exposure controls
• Support chemical emergency preparedness and response activities
• Partner with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective chemical and gas cylinder management
• Provide regulatory guidance related to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and RCRA requirements
• Maintain compliance documentation and environmental reporting requirements
• Utilize systems including SAP, SharePoint, EtQ, 3E Verisk, and SABA

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work in industrial and warehouse environments
• Ability to inspect, handle, and document chemical inventory
• Ability to move throughout production and storage areas as needed
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
