Description

Operate chemical processing, blending, filling, and packaging equipment to safely produce products in accordance with production schedules and quality specifications Monitor and control process parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, pressures, levels, and chemical concentrations to ensure consistent product quality Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and routine Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities on chemical production systems Safely handle, transfer, and stage raw materials, intermediates, and finished chemical products while adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards Operate equipment including mixers, blending vessels, pumps, fillers, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and material handling systems Review batch records, work instructions, formulas, and production documentation to ensure accurate product manufacturing Conduct quality control activities including sampling, testing, pH verification, viscosity checks, fill weight inspections, and other process quality requirements Complete batch records, production logs, quality documentation, and electronic manufacturing records with accuracy and attention to detail Support product changeovers, line cleanouts, CIP (Clean-in-Place) activities, and waste handling procedures while maintaining GMP and housekeeping standards Identify process improvements that increase safety, quality, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S practices Maintain strict compliance with chemical handling procedures, PPE requirements, environmental regulations, and plant safety standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch processing, blending, mixing, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, personal care products, or industrial production environments Ability to read and follow batch sheets, SOPs, process instructions, and quality specifications Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, GMP practices, process safety, and quality systems Experience troubleshooting process equipment and resolving production issues Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
