    Job Purpose

    We are seeking a Operator 1 to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for safely handling raw materials, preparing batches, measuring ingredients, supporting the production process according to company procedures and quality standards. The Batch Operator helps ensure products are produced accurately efficiently, and safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

    Key Responsibilities

    In this role, you will assist batch production and material handling activities, including:

    • Operate production and handle materials safely while following established procedures and safety guidelines Measure and weigh raw materials accurately to ensure correct batch formulas and production yields
    • Prepare and complete batch documentation labels, and production records accurately
    • Maintain storage areas for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods Move materials to and from production areas as needed to support operations
    • Return materials to proper storage locations and dispose of empty containers appropriately
    • and move hazardous waste containers according to safety and environmental procedures
    • Keep production, storage, and yard areas clean organized
    • Report safety, quality, or production concerns to promptly
    • Support other production tasks and departments as needed based on training business needs

    Qualifications

    Successful candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Ability read and follow safety procedures and product labels
    • Ability to accurately measure weigh materials
    • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely move heavy containers or drums
    • Ability to work independently and manage tasks
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
    • to stand or walk for extended periods
    • Comfortable working in hot,, and industrial environments
    • Ability to wear required safety equipment, including steel-toed footwear
    • English communication skills required

    Preferred Qualifications- Previous manufacturing experience

    • Experience in paint or chemical manufacturing environments
