Chemical Operator
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and operate process equipment by recording temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and tank levels while maintaining accurate operating logs and documenting process adjustments
* Safely transfer materials between railcars, storage tanks, ISO containers, and process equipment, ensuring all operations comply with environmental, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Operate and monitor pumps, compressors, control systems, and other process equipment to maintain efficient unit performance, while learning the operation and maintenance of boiler and chiller systems
* Collect product samples, support process optimization through control board operations, and successfully complete required apprenticeship training and testing
Required Skills & Experience:
* HS diploma or GED
* Previous experience working in a similar environment
* Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
* Knowledge of pressure, flow, temperature, pressure gauges, etc.
