Chemical Operator (Entry-Level & Experienced) – Clearfield, UT 84016

Pay Rate: $16.00 – $24.00/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 40–45 hrs/week | Saturdays as needed (rare)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chemical Operator to support production and shipping operations in a chemical manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily production plans using systems such as SAP
  • Perform production, packaging, shipping, and receiving tasks
  • Load/unload tankers, railcars, totes, drums, and pails
  • Operate forklifts safely and follow all dock safety procedures
  • Conduct quality control checks and follow QA/lab procedures
  • Prepare and ship customer orders in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Receive raw materials and maintain accurate inventory documentation
  • Participate in safety programs, EHS initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support inventory counts, housekeeping, and maintenance reporting

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred (not required for entry-level candidates)
  • Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
  • Exposure to chemicals, heat, noise, and industrial equipment
  • Must wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
