Job Description

We are seeking experienced and motivated Chemical Operators to join a fast-paced, 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment. The Chemical Operator will be responsible for safely operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, measuring and mixing raw materials, maintaining production schedules, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and operating procedures.

This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a production environment.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor chemical batches throughout the production process and make adjustments as required.
Measure and mix chemicals according to specified formulas and operating instructions.
Monitor and adjust process variables, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow standard operating procedures, production instructions, and safety requirements.
Complete batch tickets and ensure accurate production data entry.
Meet established production cycle times while maintaining safety and product quality.
Perform quality control checks on finished products.
Monitor product quality and take appropriate corrective action, including process shutdown when necessary.
Stage raw materials and properly store finished products.
Package and label finished products for shipment.
Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods locations.
Participate in daily production meetings and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and production issues to the supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
Technical manufacturing experience is a plus.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical maintenance, or complex processing equipment is beneficial.
Experience with machining, packaging, warehousing, or materials handling is a plus.
Ability to read and understand technical documents, procedures, and instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 55 pounds.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and work any assigned shift.
