Chemical Operator

Operator Position Overview:

Specialty chemical manufacturer for the metal finishing, automotive, and fiber industries seeks a Batch Mixer for its Greenville SC location. Experience in manufacturing processes or chemical production would be beneficial. This is a full-time position with paid vacation, company benefits, and paid holidays. Position is available due to company growth.

Desired Objectives:

1. Increase Production Efficiency
2. Daily Batch Mixing
3. Obtain zero pounds of non-conforming products on site.
4. Process improvements

Position Responsibilities:

1. Meet daily production goals
2. Manage Raw material and finish goods inventories
3. Adhere to plant safety rules
4. Packaging materials inventory
5. Non-conforming inventory reduction
6. Batch production
7. Meet training requirements
8. Load and Unload Trucks

Recommended Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certified
• 3-5 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
• General computer skills.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving the use of chemistry is helpful.
• ISO training
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
