The company is actively involved in developing, marketing, manufacturing, and selling chemical solutions to the global aviation maintenance industry and the specialty chemicals market.  McGean is a growing company looking for hard working individuals with the need for a stable work environment in the chemical industry. 

 

Hours per Week: 40 Plus OT
First Shift 
Salary/Benefit Notes: $26.72/hour to start

Primary purpose of job: Safely prepare, manufacture and package dry and liquid chemical products.

• Understand and follow all Plant safety rules and procedures.
• Operate all plant equipment and vehicles safely, including:
  • Fork trucks
  • Using scales to weigh containers and raw materials
  • Liquid mixing tanks and powder ribbon blenders
  • Pumps, flow meters and mixers to manufacture batches
  • Barcode scanners and tablets to record inventory transactions
• Follow manufacturing instructions carefully to safely make liquid and powder chemical products. 
• Accurately weigh and add raw materials using required personal protective equipment.
• Packaging of products into pails, drums and totes. 
• Complete and accurate documentation of all required batch records.
