Chemical Operator (Onsite | Long-Term Contract)
Location: Greenville, OH
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week
Shift: Must be open to rotating shifts (including overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $24–$27/hour
Employment Type: W-2 Contract
Contract Length: 12 months with strong potential for extension or direct hire
Overview
We are seeking Chemical Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role working directly with chemical processes, equipment, and materials, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
This opportunity offers long-term stability with the potential to transition into a full-time operator role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform batch processing activities including milling, blending, mulling, and spheroidizing
- Load finished chemical products into drums and sacks
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks
- Complete daily production documentation accurately
- Monitor processes and report any safety concerns or operational issues
- Support team members across production and operational activities as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in chemical, assembly, or production settings preferred
- Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
Work Environment & Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production setting
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and overtime
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying environments including heights and confined spaces
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including face mask/shield when needed
- Facial hair policy applies on-site
