Chemical Operator Trainee

ResourceMFG is hiring for Chemical Operator Trainee positions!

Location: Lafayette, IN

Two Shifts Available:  

1. Regular Night Shift: 12-hr 5:45PM-6:00AM, 3 days on 3 days off

2. Regular Day Shift: 12-hr 5:45AM-6PM, 3 days on 3 days off

Pay starts: $18.50-$19.38, potential for raises at 90 and 180 days

Tier II:                   $19.25         $20.16         

Tier III:                  $20.00         $20.95

Job summary: The position is an entry-level position at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role begins with a strong foundation in housekeeping, safety practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with a structured training path toward becoming a fully qualified Chemical Operator.  

Key responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing areas, equipment, and controlled environments
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and contamination control standards
• Properly handle and dispose of waste materials
• Maintain organized workspaces
• Follow written procedures (SOPs) with attention to detail

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED- must provide physical copy
• Attention to details
• Valid Driver's License with driving privileges
• Strong trouble shooting and some mechanical aptitude are helpful
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds from floor to waist without assistance on a routine basis
