Job SummaryWe're looking for a Chemical Process Operator to support the repair and processing of critical aerospace components. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll work with production materials, equipment, and tooling while following established procedures to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

Shift: This role is available on our 2nd shift (evening shift), with typical hours of 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMShift Differential: Employees on 2nd shift are eligible for a shift differential of $1-$3 per hour, based on the assigned workdaysSign On Bonus: $500

What You'll Be Doing

Set up and operate production equipment, fixtures, and toolsBlend surfaces and remove or apply material using hand tools and machineryMix and prepare production materials according to established processesModify and process parts to required specificationsUse measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirementsFollow production instructions and specifications with a high level of accuracySupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirementsAdhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company policiesWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goalsPerform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations

High school diploma or GED preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skillsAbility to use measuring tools or learn quicklyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityReliable attendance

Nice to Have

Manufacturing or production experienceChemical processing, coatings, plating, or metal finishing experienceExperience operating industrial equipment or hand toolsFamiliarity with measuring tools such as calipers and gaugesExperience working from work instructions or specificationsLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experienceExperience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environmentsComfortable working with PPE and following strict safety procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials throughout the shift.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 30 poundsPush or pull materials using team lift methods or material handling equipment up to 500 poundsAbility to work safely around production equipment, tools, and manufacturing processes
