Chemical Production Associate 1st Shift

Nesco Resource in Elizabethtown is hiring a production associate for a local chemical facility. Qualified candidates must have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, be self-motivated/independent, and have effective multitasking abilities. The position is Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Ideal candidates will be interviewed by the company and will need a resume providing good work history.

Job Summary:
Receiving raw materials, and mixing chemicals according to the prescribed formula to produce finished products. Once the batch passes the lab test, a full run of the recipe will be produced. Package finished products for shipment to customers. Perform housekeeping duties to maintain work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner. Run water treatment facility as needed.

Job Duties:

• Perform daily checks on equipment/machinery
• Receive raw materials
• Prepare and mix ingredients for batch preparation
• Accurately document the mixing process
• Report any non-conformities or non-conformance traits to Operations Manager/and or Quality Assurance
• Package finished products to ship to customer
• Organize and store raw materials and finished products in warehouse
• Perform housekeeping tasks to keep production area and warehouse safe, clean, and organized.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Bending and climbing steps
• Operating a Forklift on occasion
