A chemical production operator is responsible for maintaining heavy machines and equipment for chemical processing operations. A chemical production operator must adhere to the safety protocols of the production, especially on storing chemicals, recording information to the database, and operating machines.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Operating machines and mixing batches according to manufacturing instructions
Maintenance of production equipment according to procedures
Conduct daily quality inspections including measurements/data recording
Package material accordingly
Restock raw material properly per SAP work instructions
Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process.
Record information, such as ingredients, weight and temperature
Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes
Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns
Work with other team members to complete production process
Perform 5S Daily housekeeping of the chemical production area
