This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, driving performance improvements, and contributing to the success of a complex manufacturing operation.Job DescriptionManage day-to-day operations across a multi-shift chemical manufacturing department.Lead, coach, train, and develop production personnel to achieve operational and safety targets.Drive adherence to safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.Develop, communicate, and execute production schedules to meet customer and business demands.Coordinate material flow, inventory requirements, and raw material availability to support production needs.Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, maintenance, and operational teams to improve efficiency and productivity.Monitor equipment performance and initiate maintenance activities when required.Analyze operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Maintain and improve standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.Support process improvement initiatives and assist with engineering projects and production transfers.Monitor departmental performance against operational and budgetary objectives.Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment at all times.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. They will demonstrate a proactive leadership style, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
