Growing Logistics Company housing austomotive paint is seeking skilled Chemical Technicians to join our team. This position comes with unlimited growth potential.

Responsibiliteies:
  • Chemical Kitting - Accurately kit dry and liquid chemicals according to specified formulations and production schedules.
  • Chemical Mixing - Safely mix chemicals in precise quantities, following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Safety Compliance - Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and fit testing for respirators and lock out tag out procedures
  • Quality Control - Perform routine inspections and tests on chemical batches to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Use scales, balances, and other measuring equipment to calculate weights and Measurements
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of mixing and kitting equipment
  • Forklift Operation

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent;additional technical training or certification in chemical handling is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a chemical kitting or mixing role.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE usage, fit testing for respirators, lock out and tag out, and grounding and bonding.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for calculating weights and measurements.
  • Ability to lift and move containers of chemicals, which may weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with all PPE requirements.
