Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and tests to analyze chemical compounds and processes.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development of new chemical formulations and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with chemists and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary info:
$26 - $32 / hr
