Pay Range: 24 - 35/hr, W 2
Long term temp or possibly temp-to-perm.


Summary:

• Work Mode: On-site

         This is a 5 day / week on-site laboratory job

         Ability to lift up to 40 lbs / Liquid Nitrogen & Helium fill operations

         Ability to stand for 30 minutes
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide investigative analytical services to enable new business opportunities for Urethanes, Lubricants/additives, and Plastic Additives.
• Conduct routine testing with Classical, Chromatographic, and ICP Spectrophotometric equipment.
• Manage hazardous waste in compliance with RCRA training requirements, including storage, labeling, and emergency response training.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemistry.
• 0+ years of experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of Chromatography (Liquid, Gas, GPC).
• Practical knowledge of Classical Chemistry (Titrations, Melt Point, Viscosity, Karl-Fisher, etc.).
• Experience working with relevant tools.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Safety experience or focus preferred.
• Practical computer literacy.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform Liquid Nitrogen & Helium fill operations.
• Ability to stand for 30 minutes.

• Ability to sit, talk, or hear regularly; occasionally stand, walk, use hands to pick-up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Willingness to work beyond normal business hours occasionally.
