Position Summary
Help fulfill the university's mission by teaching students and providing content expertise in chemistry or biochemistry, and designing courses that contribute to the department's curriculum. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to and potential for excellence in teaching.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Advanced degree required (master's or doctorate) in Chemistry or related field with professional or industry experience. Background and experience in general chemistry and laboratory instruction is desirable. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to and potential for excellence in teaching.
Work Schedule
VISITING FACULTY: This is a one-year contract, renewable for up to two academic years in total.
Visiting faculty members teach 36-39 load hours annually, across Fall, Winter, and Spring Semesters. In the days immediately preceding and following semesters, faculty members attend meetings, grade papers, perform professional development activities, etc. Semesters last approximately 14 weeks, and annual faculty contracts cover 47.5 weeks.
