Slippery Rock University is seeking a part-time temporary faculty member capable of teaching general chemistry and/or organic chemistry laboratories for the 2026 Fall semester. The anticipated workload is 50 two laboratories. The laboratories may be in the evening 500 - 730 pm.
Applicants are asked to electronically submit a current CV, a well-written teaching philosophy (no more than three pages), and a cover letter. Please submit your teaching philosophy using the Teaching Philosophy" tab. The cover letter should be no longer than two pages and should specifically comment on your abilities and interest in teaching undergraduates in a laboratory setting.
Graduate and undergraduate transcripts will be required. Please upload the transcripts under the Transcript" tab. Official transcripts will be due prior to appointment.
