Chemistry Lab Technician

Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate's degree in Chemistry, materials science, or a related science field
Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical, and mechanical data
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other team members in product development programs
 

We are looking for a Lab Technician

• Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines, working independently or in collaboration with chemists, scientists and technical staff.
• Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems. Communicate basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes.
• Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation, formulating adhesives, and sample testing.
• Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc
• Utilize various computer systems to perform work and write internal and external final test reports.
  Use a variety of curing and dispensing equipment.
  Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments regularly to ensure reliability
  Performs additional duties as assigned.
