UCT is looking for a talented Chemline Technician IV to join us in Hillsboro, OR!
The Chemline Technician IV serves as a senior technical specialist and line leader responsible for advanced wet chemical processing and ultra-high purity cleaning of semiconductor components. This role oversees chemline operations, maintains and validates chemical processes, and ensures products meet stringent quality, contamination, and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) requirements. By leading inspections, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, supporting new product introductions and process qualifications, and mentoring junior technicians, the Chemline Technician IV drives safety, quality, throughput, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and operational standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong expertise in:
Wet chemical processing and tank chemistry management
Contamination control (particles, films, residues)
Ability to:
Work independently on complex assignments with minimal supervision
Lead workflows and guide team members effectively
Analyze process data and resolve technical issues quickly
Working knowledge of:
SPC, process documentation, and quality systems
Cleanroom and semiconductor manufacturing environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high purity standards
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, data entry systems)
Commitment to safety, compliance, and 6S practices
