Schedule:

Monday to Friday

First shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Second shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (must train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks+)

Third shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (must train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks+)

About the Role:

Seeking a detail-oriented Chemroom Operator to join our chemical manufacturing team in Mesa, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing, and processing parts within a dynamic environment. Your work ensures quality standards are met through visual inspections, handling parts with fixtures or hangers, and loading parts into chemical tanks for processing. This position is vital to maintaining process compliance and safety standards while supporting efficient production in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects according to customer or internal quality criteria
• Prepare parts for chemical processing using fixtures or hangers, ensuring minimal damage
• Manually or mechanically assist in loading parts into chemical tanks, ensuring proper process times
• Use tools such as jitterbugs, sanders, detail brushes, and pressure washers to detail parts as specified
• Operate hoists to lift and move heavy objects safely
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards within the chemical processing area
• Monitor and document process conditions during chemical treatments
• Support the team in maintaining equipment readiness and safety compliance
• Maintain awareness of process instructions to meet quality and efficiency standards

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parts cleaning within a manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment requiring quick turnaround
• Ability to train on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with chemical processing or chemical tank operations

Tools and Equipment:

• Jitterbugs
• Sanders
• Detail brushes
• Pressure washers
• Hoists
• Fixtures or hangers for parts handling

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion in a manufacturing/chemical processing environment
• Use of PPE as required for safety
