Work Schedule & Locations

This position rotates between the Cherry Hill Infusion Pharmacy and the Sewell Infusion Pharmacy.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday: Variable day shifts
  • Saturday (Cherry Hill only): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Weekend rotation: Every 6th Saturday

Position Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services in oncology and hematology. This role requires proficiency in all aspects of pharmacy operations, including the ability to supervise pharmacy technicians, make sound clinical and operational decisions, and work independently when needed.

Key responsibilities include designing, recommending, verifying, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting patient-specific pharmacotherapy; preparing and dispensing medications; and providing timely, evidence-based drug information. The pharmacist also supports medication safety initiatives, ensures compliance with policies and regulatory standards, and participates in emergency response activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Provide accurate, concise, and timely drug information to healthcare providers and patients
  • Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care across acute and ambulatory settings
  • Participate in the identification, management, and reporting of adverse drug events (ADEs)
  • Respond to and assist in medical emergencies, including rapid response and code situations
  • Ensure adherence to medication-use policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Effectively manage workflow and prioritize responsibilities
  • Support compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements

Qualifications

Credentials:

  • Active New Jersey Pharmacist License (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution (Required)

Experience:

  • Inpatient and/or infusion pharmacy experience (Preferred)

Salary Range:

$109,158.40 - $194,604.80/Annually based on 40 hours per week
