Cherry Order picker - Cycle Counter

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates Cherry Picker.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Count and verify accuracy of product in assigned inventory locations using RF scanner equipment.
• Actively implement 5S principles during cycle counting process (Sort, Straighten, Sustain, Sweep, Standardize).
• Provides daily preventative maintenance checks of equipment as required.
• Assist in reconciling variances brought forth through cycle counting
• Resolve discrepancies which arise during cycle counts, by way of product transfer, relocation, or removing/replacing damaged items.
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Observe and follow safety procedures
• Safely operate a cherry order picker equipment
• Ability to use a computer or RF scanner to perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL/VISUAL ACTIVITIES OR DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, pull, and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Attention to detail.
• Good communication
• Able to safely operate equipment in unique situations.
• Good Math skills

Education/Experience: High School Diploma and 1-year experience as an equipment operator.Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:
