Cherry Picker Operator - 1St Shift (ID #540775)

Now hiring experienced Forklift Operators!

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently move, locate, stack, stage materials, and support the production and distribution processes. Experience operating a cherry picker/forklift in a food-safe product manufacturing facility is a plus.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts equipped with reach, stand-up, and sit-down configurations to lift, move, and position materials weighing 20 lbs or more.
• Stage materials and supplies for production lines or storage areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols when operating equipment, including the use of PPE as required.
• Assist in inventory control and product staging to support production scheduling.
• Document movement and location of materials as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material movement and safety concerns.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating reach forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and sit-down forklifts
• Knowledge of safety standards related to forklift operation
• Familiarity with inventory management or staging procedures
• Experience working in a food-safe manufacturing environment preferred but not required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, and operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting
• Lifting materials over 20 lbs as needed
• Adherence to safety and food safety protocols
