Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator
Job Description
This role involves safely operating a cherry picker that reaches up to 38 feet, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and performing a variety of warehouse tasks. You will work with voice picking systems, RF scanners, and material handling equipment while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Operate a cherry picker safely and efficiently at heights up to 38 feet.
Support daily shippingand receiving operations, including loading and unloading materials.
Shrink wrap and palletize products to prepare them for shipment.
Use a voice picking system and RF scanner to accurately pick, locate, and verify inventory.
Assemble and prepare boxes and packaging materials for outbound shipments.
Pick up and remove scrap material to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform order picking and inventory-related tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Cross-train in several warehouse areas to support different operational needs as required.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring accuracy in all assigned tasks.
Essential Skills
Prior experience operating a cherry picker.
Comfort working at heights up to 38 feet.
Ability to use an RF scanner and voice picking system confidently.
Experience with forklifts and order picking in a warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and inventory handling.
Ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly and effectively.
Capability to perform physically active work, including standing, lifting, and moving materials.
Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with shipping, receiving, and palletizing in a warehouse setting.
Familiarity with shrink wrapping and preparing pallets for outbound shipments.
Background in inventory control or warehouse logistics.
Willingness to cross-train and support multiple functional areas within the facility.
Strong communication skills to follow voice-directed picking instructions and team guidance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
