We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, move, and store inventory in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and stock products at various rack heights
- Accurately fulfill orders using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Load, unload, move, and organize inventory within the warehouse
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous cherry picker forklift experience required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to work at elevated heights safely and comfortably
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights up to warehouse rack levels
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
